Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
This policy describes how MARLY s.r.o. ("we" or "the Operator") processes personal data of visitors to marlyagent.com in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Who is the data controller
The data controller is MARLY s.r.o., Company ID: [to be added after company registration], registered office: [to be added], registered with [court and file number to be added] ("the Operator").
Contact e-mail for data protection matters: social@marlyagent.cz.
2. What data we process
If you sign up for the waitlist, we process your e-mail address in order to inform you about the service launch. Right after you sign up, we send one welcome e-mail to it, confirming the sign-up, with a short description of MARLY and links to articles from our blog.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your e-mail address in order to send you the newsletter. Together with it, we record the time you confirmed the subscription, the time you unsubscribed (if you do), the language in which you confirmed it, and the fact that the consent was given by a click in the welcome e-mail.
When you visit the website, we also process technical and analytical data through Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — in particular an anonymized IP address, device and browser type, traffic source, and on-site behavior (pages visited, time spent on the site).
If you send a message through the "Feedback and questions" field in the Guide as a signed-in user, we store the text of the message, the identifier of the article (or of the Guide overview), the time it was sent and your user account. We deliver the message, together with your account's e-mail address, by e-mail to the Operator through the Resend service, so that we can reply to you and improve the guides.
Votes on "Was this article helpful?" are stored together with your user account; you can change your vote.
The place where you stopped reading in the Guide (the article and the position on the page) is stored only in your browser (localStorage). It is not sent to our servers and is deleted when you sign out.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We process the waitlist e-mail address based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) in order to send you information about the MARLY launch. This includes one welcome e-mail, sent right after you sign up.
The newsletter is a separate purpose, distinct from the waitlist. We process your e-mail address for it only based on your separate consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking "Yes, I want the newsletter" in the welcome e-mail and confirming the subscription on our website. Without this confirmation, we do not send you the newsletter. The newsletter contains news, new features and an occasional practical PPC tip, and we send it at most once a month.
We process analytics data based on your consent to the use of cookies, which you may withdraw at any time via the cookie settings on the website or your browser settings.
4. Retention period
We retain the waitlist e-mail address until the service launches or consent is withdrawn, for a maximum of 24 months from sign-up. You can unsubscribe from the waitlist at any time with the link in every e-mail we send you about the waitlist.
We process the e-mail address for the newsletter until you withdraw your consent. You withdraw it with the unsubscribe link in every newsletter e-mail or by writing to social@marlyagent.cz. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not affect the waitlist, and vice versa. We keep the record of the consent and of its withdrawal for 3 years after unsubscribing, so that we can demonstrate that we sent you the newsletter with your consent.
Analytics data in Google Analytics 4 is retained for 14 months from collection, in line with GA4's default settings.
5. Recipients of personal data
We use the following processors to operate the website and process data: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager), Vercel Inc. (website hosting), Resend (sending e-mails: the welcome e-mail, the newsletter, and the contact lists of the waitlist and the newsletter) and Supabase Inc. (the database in which we record the newsletter consent).
These processors may process data outside the European Economic Area; in such cases, the transfer is secured through standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Cookies
The website uses third-party cookies (Google Analytics) to measure traffic. Cookies are only stored after you give consent.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time in your browser settings, or block them entirely — this will not affect the website's core functionality.
7. Your rights
In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, restrict processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal.
If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example due to changes in legislation or new website features. The current version is always available on this page.
